Upon arrival at BC, I walked briskly to the food centre. Scanning around the stalls to see what might pique my appetite, I spotted the braised duck rice stall with a queue already formed at its front. Without second thoughts, I hopped in behind the last person. Being a little restless, I kept my eyes roving about the surroundings. Then, I noticed a few vacuum-packed peeled hard-boiled eggs lying on the table near the stall — suspected to be duck eggs. An unusual packaging that stirred up the curiosity of the gentleman behind me, of whom gave it a pinch; as if to ascertain that they were hard-boiled eggs as stated on its label. Indeed, they were; he looked satisfied after that sneaky touch.
What a pinch!
